Cool Stang hood

Ok i have been told not 2 do this, but my hood shakes when we drive it and it makes the whole car shake. It really gets annoying.I am wanting to put hood pins on to help keep it from shaking. Should I?

hmm....my hood is fiberglass and the hood pins are the only thing that holds it down. If you think it will help go for it....it will look cool too!

Well my hood is the stock metal one. Will that make a difference? Also if i put the pins in could i still have the regular hood latch still on it?

if you still have the hinge springs....(I don't), I would want as much fastening as possible to keep that thing from comming up. however, It would depend on how well you get the hood pins adjusted to keep the hood tight. You could get a good fit and render the latch useless. Ive never tried functional pins on a steel hood.
