running hot

hey guys i bought a new 3 core rad and fan and hroud and installed it and i am still running hot sitting still i saw 200 deg with a 180 stat in what the deal what do i need to do i went with a 5 blade fan also steel do i need to set the timming different to lower the heat ? its a new water pump too maybe 1 to 2 years old the stuff i bout was org to 65 mustang also can someone help me run cooler ???

Thermostat?....I dont know...maybe your gauge is wrong? How long does it take to heat up?...Cause with mine, it takes a long time to even get it up to normal...she's cold natured...

it heats up normal the gauge shows 170 sitting ther ideling so it might be off 10 deg but in the wrong way if it shows 200 it is 210 i guess right cause it reads 10 deg low i don't know what the deal is mabe i go with a 160 and see ??

ok i did a adjustment on timming and its about 1 1/2 in above the mark is that right ???? its a little cooler but still at 200 at red lights witha 180 stat in ??? what do you think
