hey guys, im a new guy around as you can tell by my post count....im looking to get into a 65-69 and do it up. im in new jersey and i dont know anyone around here that works on these cars. im not sure if ill do the work myself or send it out. the only thing original i plan on keeping is the shell. something lowered, in silver with some 17's and a black interior. that along the lines im looking at. let me post a pic of the car that comes close to what im looking to do. tell me what you guys think. this is all new to me, as my hobbies are cigarette's and 572s to power them. looking forward to this mustang. stecz

 

Welcome, S. The cars are all over--check your papers, the internet, Hemmings and such. As for doing the work yourself, unless you have a thick wallet, you'll probably want to do some of the work yourself. That's half the fun of these cars--they aren't too complicated to work on (most everything is operated off of a vac line or a spring!) Plus, you have a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips here--just ask.

Having said all that, welcome. I've been on old stangs for over 20 years and love it.
