Update Nov. 25:
Removed all trim
Removed rear windshield (with not breaking it!!!)
Removed Gas tank
Bolted in rear end with tacked perches ( need to adjust them then reweld them)
Removed Doors
All in all productive day, Only thing I have left to do before blasting is remove the dash wiring and possibly remove upper cowl so I can blast the lower cowl. Have not decided yet.
Anyways, Enjoy more pictures.

Your doing great, keep up the good work!
But wow Iam so spoiled out here in california, I have redone 9 pre 1970 mustangs of my own and countless other peoples, and ones in that shape don't even get looked at unless it's a fastback.
The "ONLY" good thing about California is the weather! and lack of rust,

I havent updated here in a while so, lets start updating.
Febuary .
Fixed the frame rail under the battery, Boxed it in after from the inside to keep structure solid. Replaced inner fender and radiator support
March rolling in, Floor time!!
Drivers side floor out
After a while, i figured i needed to get a better way of moving the car around, I made a cart with 4 caster wheels so i can move it around my garage.
Back to the floors --
Fitting the drivers floor in.
And done with that floor!!
On to the trans hump repair, had a rotted out spot in the center, so i took my junk trunk lid and got some good metal out of it to fix the trans hump.
I must say, Make sure you measure 10 times... or this will happen..
But, you can always add metal, saved my ***.. haha
So, Moving on, found some rot in the back seat floor.. didnt think it was bad, so i did the tap test with a hammer... the end result was this...
Got it cut out and used more good metal from the trunk.
More to come!!!
Got alot more done, just catalogging the pictures!!

So to more recent events..
Finished the entire floor in main area, so i scuffed it all up and cleaned the surface scale off the roof. Found one pin hole, Ill patch it later, but i cleaned it all down to metal.
Its ready for Primer!!
So this is my first time using a paint gun instead of rattle cans.. so cut me some lack.. had some drip spots, but hey..... its not final paint..
Of course i mixed to much primer, so.. I figured id hit the front end where i did the repairs earlier to get them all one color again.
I also bed linered the inner cowl in prep for the upper cowl install... lets see you rot again... MUAHAHAHAHA
On to the dash.. Back story on it, mine was to rusted.. I lucked out and found a friend that was about to trash a dash.. he already had it cut in HALF!!! Told him to send it to me sinceit was going to scrap. Sent it right over... both halves..
Made quick work of it.. Left a 1/8 inch gap for width of the blade he used and welded her back up.
Got some body work to do on it, but its pretty **** straight already.
Primed it up to seal it.
And now I am pretty much caught up , I am going see a guy this weekend about a pair of fenders and doors, and few other things. hopefully it pans out, then ill have a full car again.
During the week, ill be moving to the trunk to changes its pans, then fix the quarter panels. Busy busy busy!!!!
Till next time!!

I have not updated in a while, so.... Get ready for picture overload.... hehe
Floors in!
Trans tunnel fixed!
Found some more rust, suprise suprise.. cut it out.
Scuffing it all down for primer
So.. I mixed to much primer… so I sprayed the extra on the outside, even though I know I’ll be sanding it to metal later..
Bedliner is awesome.. I primed the inner cowl, then coated it with a thick coat of brush on bed liner.
Started to pull the back half of the car apart. Tail light panel, and trunk pan out, also trunk cross member

Had an awesome score from a local guy, Got OEM Fenders and OEM Doors, spent 600 for the lot, they are in good condition, just need some minor touch ups. Best part is , NO RUST!
Mocking up the rear panel repairs
All welded up and the *** is back!! New taillight panel.
Cowl and dash are now fully welded in and installed.
Finished up the patch panel on quarter panel.
Got the new Valance for the rear.
Something is missing? ..
Installing the boxing plates for my Mustang II style suspension. Mocking them up.
Tacking them in place.

Finally got the car to my fathers shop with the large Millermatic 241 Mig welder. Now I can put some heat to the cross member and suspension parts.
Assembling the suspension for test fit.
Ok, tired of metal work, switching to engine for a bit. I pulled a 302 from a 93 van that came with the car as part of the deal. It is a roller block with flat tappet cam installed on it. So, I will be converting it to a roller cam since it has the bolt holes for the retainer already in it. I sent the block to machine shop to get honed out and checked. All came back great, no issues, didn’t need to bore it.
Van pan is Fox style rear sump, so works perfect for me, Cleaned it up and primed it with gloss black engine enamel.
Was also able to prime the suspension and reassemble it. All chassis black now.
Removed undercoating on inner fenders and firewall. Then coated it with Permetec Rust treatment
Before
After the Rust treatment
And now to current, I got an engine rebuild kit and put the lower half back together.
It has a F303 Roller cam. I went to the Local pull a part and found some GT40P heads off a 97 explorer, they are off to machine shop as we speak to get cleaned up and a valve job. I also got the lifters, dog bones, and retainer clip from the same motor. I also pulled the 32 spline 3.73 LS out. All that for a whopping 230 bucks.. I love pull-a-part.
After the motor is built, I should be stabbing the motor in and will have a rolling car, Ill move on to brakes after I get that and the rear end settled in.
I will try and update more often, instead of a mega post.
