Here is a pic of the rear quarter after I welded it in place. However, my measurements on all of the rear frames, trunk floors and deck lid are bang on, however the height from the rear quarter to the ground doesn't match the other side. These were tacked on in place prior to me starting it and I don't want to cut them off to refit if I don't have to. Does it look right from the picture? I know it is hard to tell from one picture but your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Just to give you a little more background on the method of the work being done, I levelled the car along each side on the rocker panels. I also have the frame rails at the same distance at all points such as at the rear shackles, front spring bolt holes, front floor supports, and front frame rails. They also measure exactly the same when measuring diagnally across from the front bolt hole on the rear leaf springs to the rear shackle. I did this as per the 67 shop manual diagrams, however I raised mine higher in order to have more access under the car. It just seems that the rear quarter on this side sits a bit too high, but it also looks the same as prior to the start of the restoration, here is a pic of what I mean, is it just me or does the rear quarter just behind the wheel well look too high?

No, I think its dead on! If you look at the drivers door its in perfert alignment with the fender and quarter panel. Looks like to me that the car maybe has new shocks or new springs, but the height looks right on.
After you tack weld the quarter on, put the drivers door back on or close it.I cant see the door on your after picture, that will tell you if its sitting up higher or if its level.

I am no body man but i can say with some certainty that the best way to tell if it is correct is to install the door and trunk lid and see how they line up.

The trunk lid lines up perfectly all around, and I haven't adjust it yet either. Thanks fellas.

I see what you are saying (or at least I think I do) and it is just the particular angle you are looking at, I think it's fine. Ceck out any of the 67's here and you'll see it's common. http://mustangs.harmonic.org/6769/

This pic in particular if I understand you correctly makes the rear lower qtr line look more like it lines up above the rocker molding not below it as you think it should. Is that right?
