Question Headers on engine swap

Quick question - I'm putting a 5.0 in the 66 coupe and was wondering if the shorty headers for a fox-body would work on a 66 with an AOD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Y'know I have often wondered the same thing myself? I doubt equal length shorties would work, but 1-1/2 to 1-5/8 unequal length might fit?

http://www.streetortrack.com/JBA-Sho...-pr-17361.html

although they do make them for 64 to 70 mustangs with the short deck windsor.

I did find this on another website (googled)

I have a stock set of 5.0 Mustang headers, I tried putting them
on. They hit the shocl tower on the drivers side and were right
on the steering box.
so apprently not
