On my 66 mustang I am having a problem with the gas pedal sticking. when I mash it to the floor it stays down there and does not come back up. It is kinda scarry because there is the possibility of it not comming back up. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and any ideas on how to fix it.

Thanks
Jeff

Is it sticking to the floor, or is the linkage to the carb getting stuck or binding? Need to figure out the location of the problem...

Do you have TWO throttle return springs at the carburetor? One? None?
