I was thinking about making this car into a track car or coupe/convertible like someone else I know. So make this a future/wish build. I need input so here goes...

I want input on steering, suspension, brakes, drivetrain, etc. BTW, I do have a 9" rear end in the backyard and have access to auction cars at my buddies tow co for cheap.

Also, No E cars, but it would not be out of the question to do a modern version of a GT-350S

I'd be concerned with the weight up front with the big block. 351 is about the biggest I might go. Though the engine bay is the same from 65-70 only the shock towers are different. Maybe change the shock towers to '67 and stroke a motor.

Need more input...

and you arent using a 289? just would think thats the most logical idea for a 65... as for brakes disks all around.... as for exterior what are you planning? it'd be cool to have an r look if your working mainly on performance

why supercharge over turbo? just a question is there more aftermarket supprt with superchargers than turbochargers, or more power? i have no idea so any info you have would be appreciated... anyways do turbos have the same whine as a supercharger? i dislike the higher pitch let off by the sc but i dont know if turbos do too but it just isnt my cup of tea

Most Roots blowers whine. Cent. blowers make some noise. Turbo's blow off extra pressure using a blow off valve which makes the whooosh noise.

Turbos make more power because they are driven by exhaust and not engine belts. Turbos cost more. Blowers have no lag.
