Pretty hot setup you found. Let's get more details on that one for the project...
it looks to be the exact same lokar unit that cloney has. as far as any other info the pic is really all i have, but i can tell you that on a 69/70 console there is much in those areas to cause any interference. if we used a 69 console we might be able to make the e-brake sit back a little further by doing away with the cig lighter in the console, it is setup so that the console box is angled from top to bottom at th front where the lighter is, which might give us some room to move the brake back a little bit getting us a cleaner look. the only obstacle in the way if we did that would be the rear bracket as it sits right under the front of the box, but that could be modified rather easily and a new bracket made that attaches at the rear of the console.

Top side looks GREAT

But what bout underneath? Does it use some type of bridge connector like the stock one so the handle will activate both rear brakes?

What bout cable routing around the DS?

Cummon BOB! Inquiring minds need to know these things

Haven't had a chance to work on the cables, as I've been sick the last few days, and don't feel like crawling around on the concrete floor...
I'm planning to using the original 65 connector with a new adjusting bolt running from the handle clevis to the connector.

PLENTY of D/S clearance - more than the stock setup, since the cables now run up at the top of the tunnel. I'd say there's 3" of clearance now, whereas there was 1" before.

Cloney,

Very nice mod. It's a functional subtle change that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
