Cold start stall out

I have been having some trouble with my initial turn over in my 66 coupe. I can get the engine going however to keep it running I must keep giving it gas. I know it has to do with my carburator but not exactly sure where to start. Once the car is warm it stays running with no problem. My thoughts are my choke is not working properly.

Post Choke

Yes, the choke is the place to start.

It sounds like it is not closing or staying closed.
Take off the air cleaner and see what the choke is doing after you set the choke.
Press the gas pedal down once before you start the car to set the choke.
The choke should be in the closed position at this point.
If is is, start the car and then look at the choke position.

Thanks for the tip. I will try that out. I know the chokes are the usual suspects to go out in classic cars. Thanks again for ur help.
