Robyn,

welcome. I'm not following exactly, I know all too well your point about not wanting to really change something that is original, but are you then suggesting this is your only car????? If you drive this in Mass winters, then I would not be as concerned about putting in a 5spd. BTW, you can use a stock **** on them and then only you know it's in there.

So where in Mass are you? I have lived all along the coast from RI to Maine and am currently in southern NH so if ya ever need a hand or something let me know.

My main vehicle is a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I store the Mustang in the winter. I wouldn't think of driving it this time of year! I live in Lancaster MA which is about 15 miles east of Worcester. If I got a new Mustang it would have to be something special, so I'm going to wait and see what they come out with next year. There was a SEMA show car on ebay that went for 41K, that was nice! There are also a few Saleens for sale now that look pretty nice as well. I was wondering, I don't know much about the Saleen, is it still considered a Ford Mustang if you were to take it to a show?? Not that I'm into shows much but I was just curious.

Saleens have their own category at big Mustang shows... at smaller basic shows they are in with the general late model crowd.

Hah, there ya go a Jeep GC is my daily too. Glad you do not use it in the winter, my point I guess was that an 05' could replace your daily instead of replacing the CS and then you could have both. I myself may consider this in 06' and so far the Saleen model has been one of the nicest I've seen. I had a 99' before getting the jeep and the rear wheel does bite in the snow I will admit, but having your cake and eating it can be rewarding as well.

No offense, but at that price you will have to come up with another plan on how to purchase that '05. A quick scan of eBay shows many Cali Specials up for sale and not going at or close to that price.

Trying to help, though it may not go off that way

I understand your point but thats ebay. :nono: I've seen these cars going for 21K and up on other sites. This car is also in exceptional condition. Many of the ones you see on ebay would need to put $$$ into to get to this point or they are missing original or correct parts.

Do you have all the original parts for that one? Usually ebay shows the high end of the scale due to the flurry of moronic bidding that sometimes takes place. You have a nice car but, IMO, $19.5 is high end although not necessarily unattainable.

I'm not arguing with you but seeing cars listed for $21k and cars actually selling at that price are very different. Autotrader is the worst example of inflated (fake) prices. One benefit of eBay is that you do see what it sells for in the end (or doesn't sell for).

Oh yes, I have all the original parts plus some extra stuff I bought and haven't installed yet.
