I havent on my 68 inline 6, but my buddy did on his 66 i-6. Pretty simple from how he described it. The kit just bolts in. I dont recall which kit he used though. He definitely says it was a great improvement over the stock drums! By the way, what year Stang you wanna plop those into?

I got the SSBC kit a few years ago. There pricey but totally worth it. Using my 66 as my daily driver in Los Angeles for years I know disc have saved me from a lot of close calls.

If you end up getting the kit, it would be sick if you posted a step by step of how you did it all

One note about SSBC is if you do buy a kit and they offer it, it is best to buy it asap because they will all of a sudden drop a kit out of the blue. Also if you do need technical support SSBC is really lacking in that department. Basically you are on your own.

Thumbs up Front Disc Brakes on a 65-66 Mustang

I have a much less expensive Kit on my mustang and I am using OEM ford product. 1977 ford Granada complete spindles, rotors, calipers and they have replacement pads at all auto parts so don't buy a $1,000 kit. I went to the junk yard, got lucky and found one with new stuff. steve's mustangs also tells you step by step. check out the link below.
