351C 2V to 4 barrel carb

I have a 1970 351C 2V in my 68 Coupe. Is there any way to put a 4 barrel carb on it without swapping out the heads? Some sort of conversion or special intake?

I would think an aftermarket (or even OEM) four-barrel intake would plop right on - no need to change the heads, though when I did that to my 390 I found it was over-carbed for the size heads - 30% through 100% throttle made no difference except sound.

351C is one bad mother - my pop had one in an old tired Torino wagon - it hauled you-know-what.

Someone should be able to elaborate more...

I know Edelbrock makes a 2V/4V intake that is port matched to the 2V heads. Dont know the part # off hand, but have seen them for sale on various sites on the web, new and used.

I might be a couple of months Late for this post but I can help you if you are still seeking aid. I did this conversion on my 351c 2v.

There is a wide range of aftermarket intake manifolds for the 2V heads that welcome a 4 barrel square bore carb.

Edelbrock, Holley and weiand are some that make streetable intakes. I went with the Xcelerator from Weiand and a Holley 750 vacuum secondary.

I did it when my 69 still had the 2bb heads on her 71 Clvd motor.

I believe I also had a Weiand & a Holley.
