I know this probably belongs in the for sale section, but I'll soon be pulling the 289 and 4 speed top loader out of this 68 so I can completely tear it down. I'll be replacing it with a 302 and a T-5 transmission. This 289 and tranny are both clean and strong. Nothing wrong with them at all, I just want the correct 302 that originally came in the car. Will sell both or will separate. I'm in central Oklahoma if anyone is interested in picking them up. I'd be willing to drive an hour or so to meet someone if it would make their trip shorter. The toploader is sold. Still have the 289, but I'm thinking I may just rebuild it.
