Yes, I am planning to. It will probably be over the summer, but it will get done.

That's pretty cool. What are your power goals?

Just enough to beat classic V8s. I've read that with the supercharger setup it could reach 290 hp. I will be getting larger valves, header, and a cam to add to it. Maybe I'll get luck and reach 300.

Hopefully it will all go well. Probably start saving for it in March and be ready at the end of May. Haven't decided if I want to run an intercooler.

I need the following.

header
exhaust
M90 supercharger
tensioner
fuel pump
carb adapter(direct mount to head)
nitrophyl float
ribbed balancer
ribbed pulley for water pump and also alternator
custom mounts
high pressure hoses and fittings
different head gasket
special PCV valve

Then if time allows cam and valves.

Sounds expensive... I'm gonna need to see video when it's done!

1k+

I've asked for videos on the 6cyl forum I am on and no one has posted any. So maybe mine will be the first.

Ha! Yes, that's true!

Lots of problems with my car. Pretty much have to rebuild it from one end to the other!

It's actually kind of funny, in a sick, twisted kind of way lol

BA, forgive me for not following your thread too closely, are you supercharging the I6?

Uhh no offense to the I6 but just put a 8cyl in there. Please It would complete the bad assness of this car.

If I blow up the 6 or find a good deal on a 390 before I can get the supercharger setup done I will.

It's always hard to be the first... But maybe you'll get some recognition to make it all more than worth it

Nah, currently his car looks to be in better shape yours, so you're fine with buying new stuff until you two are even

Turbo setup might be cheaper. I could probably make a turbo header setup for it. Distributor would have to modded to make sure it doesn't pull too much timing.

Items needed

Turbo
intercooler
oiling system
fuel pump
nitrophyl float
j pipe
wastegate
BOV
turbo pipes
o2 sensor and wideband gauge
boot gauge
gauge pod
carb adapter
carb hat

I have some Falken tires on their way. 205/50 for the fronts and 225/50 for the rears.

You'll get to see the 4x4 look before I cut my drop coils to make it lower.

The fronts will be almost 1" smaller on sidewall and rears will be about the same difference as the fronts. The fenders are already about 2" above the top of the tire so I am going to need like 1 1/2 coils cut.

Couldn't you just get lowering springs?

I have 1" drop coils on the front already, but it raised the front since my old coils were so worn. I will have to cut them to get to the ride height I want my 67 to be at.
