That's REALLY coming along nicely. I love the paint and wheels together!

Hey Jake, I forgot to ask. How many coats of base did you use? How many of clear?

I want to know in case I ever get my orange bomb painted......

He said like 40+ years if kept in good condition. Don't know if that is true, but I don't care it looks good.

Well, I guess you can justify ONE paint job every 40 years! lol

You can keep it for all your life. Cheaper then buying new Mustangs like I do every few years......

Well I pulled the transmission today for hopefully the last time. I will be taking it to a mustang shop hopefully tomorrow so I can get that done. Once that is finished I will take it to get exhaust done. Still have some spots to touch up on the car. After all of that is done I will be handing it off to its new owner. I sold it a couple weeks ago and I haven't given it off yet since it wasn't finished.

I will most likely be buying a 2006 Red Fire Pony Package V6, so I will be staying with mustangs. However, I'm just getting a newer one.

Well parents changed their mind and are making me keep it. So they are also lending my money to finish it up.

So my dad ordered my A/C and header today. Should get them both in a couple weeks.

Well good! I'm glad you're keeping it too.

What AC system are you getting? I found out the AC condensor from my Classic AC Daily Driver system was not letting enough air get thru to the radiator and was causing the car to overheat. I put in this condensor from Old Air and it's a lot better.

Its a full indash kit like the stock mustang from 67 would have gotten.

Nice! That condenser doesn't look too big, you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Mine is running so hot in this heat and traffic that I'm thinking about having a 24 inch radiator put in it. I'd have to have the radiator support cut, but then I wouldn't have to worry about being stuck in traffic. It runs pretty cool right now as long as I have air flow thru the radiator, but if I get stuck in traffic then the temp keeps going up. Not good!

Here's a guy named "Mustang Steve" who did it to his 65. Looks pretty good.

I'll find out if it heats up more soon. I was told it takes 7-10 days to make since the kits are made to order.

How hot does it get where you live? Here we're already getting 100 degree days, and it barely summer yet!

We are in the 90s already, but my temp gauge has never gotten past half way in the 3 years I've owned the car.

Well, that sounds good. But the AC condensor can change that. I found that out the hard way......
