i like doing a car simple in the beginning .. then in a year or so you can add some stripes ,, years later add some scoupes and spoilers .. allways keeping it updated and fresh

It was supposed to have side scoops, but the body shop didn't get back to me in a reasonable time period so I went and picked it up.

Aren't v8s awesome?

also I think it looks better without the scoops. I always preferred the 67 vent things to the scoops

Tada! I hope to be able to salvage the block :/ So at very least it needs a new crankshaft, rod, and oil pan. Worst case, I have to buy a new block, rering kit, rod, crankshaft, oil pan, and probably more...

Not really sure yet. I have been told its probably because the rod caps weren't torqued correctly so the nuts backed off the rod bolts. Then they got shot out the pan.

Sorry to see that. I hope you get it going again soon, maybe the damage is minimal.

Not the day it went. I was just cruising to work. It actually did that when I was turning to go into the parking lot.

Haha I'm a broke college student, I can't afford that kind of swap yet.

Also last night we made it official, the mustang broke a rod. Trashed the block and some other parts.

Nah, just going to find another 302. Ford wants too much money for their crate engines, I'd never buy one.
