Well I've had a problem with getting the clutch to engage smoothly in 1st gear at a stop since before the rod broke in the other engine. I never had a problem before with the I6 and its clutch. Also reverse would go in smoothly. So yesterday I tried starting off in 2nd gear instead of 1st, and its was as smooth as reverse. That just concludes that something is up with 1st gear. I do know the TQ specs of my transmission are lower than what the engine puts out, so I'm thinking I could have messed it up launching.

Well for $35 I couldn't pass it up. I like the GM setup better too, just looks cleaner.
EDIT: This is the one I bought.

It was a good show, didn't win anything though. But I was helping judge and park cars.
In a week or so I'm going to start stiffening up the car for racing. Going to order a rear sway bar, subframe connectors, and make custom shock tower braces and a monte carlo bar using heim joints.

Beware of scammers. They are all over the world. I received a check from England for a car that wasn't worth the paper printed on. The ebay user wasn't even still active the day I got the check. Don't just deposit the payment you receive but make sure it has cleared before releasing your Stang to a freight company.

No deposit = no sale. Its back up on ebay and I opened a cancel transaction case on him. That way when he accepts it I can get my $125 back for the dumb final sale fee.
