Alternate gas pedals?
I need to install a a gas pedal with a "left wing" extension to aid in heel/toe downshifting. I've always been able to find great alternatives for my other cars, but haven't found a good alternative for the 2011+ mustang.
So I have two questions:
Is the gas pedal cover on the Boss removable? Or do I have to attach something to it?
Anyone have experience with a solution for our vintage Mustangs?

In the past we would just re-bend the pivot rod to reposition the pedal. That was in the days before position sensors though. Probably not for the faint of heart these days.

SRP Racing makes some nice ones.

I had a set on my 370Z and loved them. Might try them on the Mustang as well.
When I installed them on my Z I drilled the brake pedal just a few mm over to the right so I could get a little bit of a tighter spacing with the gas pedal for heel-toe. The SRP gas pedal was a few mm wider than OEM, but I liked the spacing even closer.

Doubtful. You probably have to drill it yourself. I'm not sure how the Mustangs are set up in that dead pedal area, but with the Z there was a foam wedge under the carpet that you drilled/glued into.

Meh you guys just aren't trying hard enough, pedals are perfect stock.
If you want to go aftermarket, I'd suggest something from here:

Who'd a thought, a Sasquatch can drive that fast?
If you can hit those two stock pedals with one foot, you are a well-endowed man
Just realized the Moss ones I got must be this same Sullivan company:

Same here, but it looks like all these pedals listed are flared at the bottom. I can get it done, but I think I could be smoother on the brake if the top of the gas pedal were a little closer.
