Tomorrow would have made week 3. Long story short, other guy's fault, passenger witness, police officer witness, police officer dashboard cam showing the "accident", we both have state farm(apparently this is bad), no I am not angry, yes I am "ok" as far as I know going to the doctor tomorrow, guy with SUN GLASSES blamed it on the sun .
Thank the lord every one involved wan't hurt, and thank FORD for making one tough *** car.

Go back to my 86 and hope this never happens again cause if it does, there is no way I'll walk away from it in that car.

That is so sad....I sure feel for you. Also, several years ago I was injured in a wreck and we were both insured by State Farm. If you turn out to be injured I would suggest you get an attorney right away. I had a much more difficult time settling because of us being with State Farm.

Even in the wrecked pictures, the Kona still looks great. Am also glad to see a 5.0 in your future, even if it is a little old.

Yeah all the air bags went off including the side impact... too bad it ruined the seats. I hope it is deemed as totaled, I will fight the insurance company on that if they don't see it as such. Yeah Red Jay you were the first to comment on my topic last week.

I'm sorry to hear and see, man. That really sucks. It was a nice car too, and not your fault. Just make sure they pay what they agreed to, and definitely get your own lawyer if you need to. I hope you get a fair value for it! (Like the entire sum of what you paid for it if not more) Stay optimistic, man!

Sorry about your car, She was a beaut.

But remember lawyers read forums too. Don't make any admissions or describe the accident or say its your fault.

I've heard, if the air bags go off there is a very good chance the insurance company will total the car. Not all the time but most of the time.

Did the air bag on the steering wheel hurt your wrist or anything when it went off? This is one of my 'fears' i have. I've heard and read so many stories about the steering wheel air bag 'breaking' the drivers wrist.
