Just got her yesterday with Shaker 500 and was reading the manual. Says I can enable the RDS using the menu button while on an FM station.

With the radio on, tuned to FM....I don't see the RDS option while scrolling thru the list.

Anybody find/get this to work?

 

I think you have to hold the menu button for a couple seconds, it should pop up with a different menu.

Menu button press down till the new menu flashes
New Menu Pops up
Say RDS on.....
Then you can have fun with the shaker.
And when you are bored, when on FM press 3&6 together for the self test.

 

what's RDS again?

 

Where the radio station ID and or the song playing will pop up above the call letters on your shaker

X100.5
Magic 96
Rock 99
