There are a couple of ways to get rid of the turn signal sound. You can either press the accelerator or turn the volume **** of the stereo clockwise. I hope this helps. Seriously though, I don't think you can, I never even notice it so I don't see the annoyance of it.

I like the sound, very retro, not as annoying as the traditional signals. I suggest turning your radio up a little...

People always notice that first time in the car. After a while, you won't!

just do what the people of Ohio do, don't use it and just slam on your brakes when you want to let people know you are going to turn.

Now I'm going to think about the turn signal sound, next time I get into the car.

It's like mentioning blinking. Have fun thinking about that for the next 10 minutes!

You'll get over it.

The turn signal sound is like every other sound, once you are driving the car long enough you'll never even notice its on. Its kinda like the radio when you driving around for a while it can be really loud and you wouldnt know until you get back in the car and turn it on and its BLASTING, you get used to it.

If you don't like the sound. I think the sound could be changed by replacing the turnsignal flasher. Anyone know where it is? Or if it is like the old ones? Just a matter of pulling out the old one & plugging in a replacement?

just rip the dash open and turn the blinker on and find the solenoid that is making the clicking and disconnect it?

Give it some time. I initially found it annoying and now it doesn't bother me.

You can try to find a flasher that has the same electrical connections that is quiter, possible for a previous year ford. Most likely under the instrument panel (where the pedals are) or behind the glove box.

I to love the retro sound.

The sound is actually from Jaguar. My Dad used to have Jaguar and it has the same sound. Guess they use the same parts. I like it personally.

The only thing that is slightly annoying is when its on for too long, she reminds me. There is an on ramp near me, that can take 10-15 seconds to get on and over to the fast lane. That being the case, I either turn it on and off for every lane change, or I leave it on... When I leave it on Rae complains.

She is a talkative gal... but I like it for the most part. She tells me everything, LOL
