2.4 Hours of LeMullets Crown Victorias

Total of 40 automotive influencers are set to duke it out in 20 Crown Victorias at the Freedom Factory next month.

Motorsports is, for the most part, a prestigious sport. One filled with highly skilled drivers, precision driving, and high-tech mechanicals all working in harmony to produce an epic combination of excitement and history. None of those things apply to Cleetus McFarland‘s 2.4 Hours of LeMullets, however, a race pitting a bunch of automotive influencers against each other behind the wheel of 20 different nitrous-fed Crown Victorias.

But things like prestige don’t matter much here, because this race has all the makings of an epic way to spend a couple of hours in quarantine. It’s a pay-per-view event, but with an early bird cost of $9.95, it’s also cheaper than a reasonable lunch out. For that small outlay of cash, you can see a bunch of people you probably already watch on YouTube duke it out in sprayed Crown Victorias at the Freedom Factory, which is better than some stale bread sandwich anyway, right?

McFarland is promising this race will be the “biggest, craziest, and most hell yeah brother even you’ve ever witnessed,” which seems like a tall claim. But it does have all the makings of an entertaining slice of TV. In addition to the 20 Crown Victorias running nitrous and Nitto NT555 G2 tires, there are actually 40 drivers in total. Midway through the race, they’ll switch off, which should throw a proverbial wrench into the competition.

It all goes down at the Freedom Factory, formerly known as DeSoto Speedway, which is right next to Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida. McFarland and his team purchased the track some months ago, and have since restored it back to its former glory. Now, in addition to using the track to film all sorts of epic content, it’s also ready to host some real racing action like this.

The 2.4 Hours of LeMullets takes place on November 14 at 6 pm EST, so there’s plenty of time to get signed up by heading over here. And there’s also a list of drivers at the site, so you can go ahead and pick your favorite now. Personally, we feel like the epic duo of Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Chelsea DeNofa, both professional racers, are going to be hard to beat. But as they say, that’s why we race.
