Classic 4×4 Mustang Mud Truck Knows How To Get Dirty

This video proves that there’s more than one way to have fun with a Mustang.

There are a lot of different ways to have fun behind the wheel. Some like drag racing, some like road courses or autocross, and some like to go off-road. Since you’re reading this on The Mustang Source, we can assume that you like to have your fun on paved asphalt. But if you’ve ever thought about going off the beaten path in the literal sense, someone has already taken the trouble to build an off-road Mustang monster truck.

Classic 4x4 Mustang Mud Truck Knows How To Get Dirty

Spotted in this video by BustedKnuckleVideo, this classic “Mustang” is little more than a body draped over a purpose-built 4×4 truck frame. Still, it looks cool as heck. The car is a ’65 or a ’66 notchback, possibly fiberglass in whole or part. As cool as this thing is, we’d hate to think of cutting up a classic Mustang like this.

Filmed at Mountain Mud Run in Warren, New Hampshire, the video opens with the Mustang tearing through the mud, bouncing, splashing, and flinging dirt wherever it goes. If you’re used to the more traditional way of going fast, the video is a nice change of pace.

The monster Mustang, named “Beyond the Law,” shows up again after the five minute mark, clearing an impressive-looking jump. More muddy Mustang antics come again at the six and a half minute mark. Maybe we’re biased, but the driver looks like they’re having more fun than anyone else playing in the mud.

All in all, the Mustang gets quite a bit of screen time in this eight-minute video, and from what we can tell, it’s well-deserved. What did you think of this Mustang monster truck? Share your thoughts in our forum!
