Stolen Mustang Alert: ’66 Family Heirloom Gone

Stolen Mustang

The idea of getting your Mustang stolen is tough enough to swallow, but the idea of having a ’66 model taken from you that you’d planned to hand down to your five-year-old grandson makes it even tougher to swallow.

That’s exactly what happened to Fred Sult in North Carolina, according to a 13 News WLOS.com report.

“You know when the phone rings at 4 o’clock in the morning that there’s something wrong,” Sult told the local ABC News affiliate. “They rammed the door and got it up enough to bring the car out.”

Suit said he bought the Mustang 12 years ago, and is even considering offering an award for the car.

“I just want them caught,” Sult said. “We want the car back. It’s too sentimental.”

Anyone who has any information about the Mustang is being asked to contact the McDowell Sheriff’s Office at (828) 652-2235.
