2013 Tail Lamps on my 2011
Well I guess I was lucky and picked up a pair of 2013 Taillamps on eBay for a fraction of retail. I also added a Boss 302R grille & Pia Lower fog lamps from CDC.
The gap is there, but not too bad on a black car. I may eventually replace the bumper with a 2013, but I think I can live with it for now.
So, comments??

You car looks awesome man, congrats.
Aside from the gap the other thing I don't like with the new taillights is the black decklid panel. It disrupt the flow of the concave shaped taillights IMHO.

First, here are two photos of the gap. When I installed the lamps, I put a strip of black weatherstripping on the inside leading edge of the bumper. It prevents seeing tru the gap. Disregard the water, as I just washed the car.
As for install, simple as could be. They are plug & play. There are 4 retainers holding the truck panel. Once removed, there are 3 nuts to remove on the old taillamps. Then unplug and push the rubber grommet thru. New ones just slide in, bolt them up, and plug them in. Took all of 10 minutes.

I can take the panel off....which would also show my over the top stripe. Just not sure yet if I want the back concave or with the Matte Black Panel. If the Faux Gas Cap wasn't such a pain, I would remove the panel.
