Best BLACK Wheels for 2014 GT?
Thinking of getting some black wheels on my Grabber Blue 14, but really this would be the first mod on the car, and the first time I've gone to a new wheel ever. New at all this!
I like some of the all black wheels I see online, but I'm not crazy about seeing the American Muscle logo in the center of the wheel....maybe I'm a noob and maybe that is COOL ....I don't know, just not crazy about it. Much rather it say "Ford Racing" or "Bullitt" or something....or maybe just not anything
Any tips on what is considered the classiest route for this kind of thing? And best manufacturers?
Thanks much
Tom

My grabber blue with stock wheels in black. Just to give you an idea.
What sort of design are you looking for? Multi-spoke? 5-star?
What size 18, 19, or 20"?
And can those American muscle logos/centers be popped out and replaced with something else? Or are they stamped onto the rim?

Here are AM's 5-spoke Saleen-style 18x9s in gloss black. The center caps can be replaced, but the GT caps that AM sells do not fit. The blank, black ones pictured here do, though. If you have Brembos, or plan to get them, you'll need 19s or larger for most wheels.
EDIT: WTH is the pic? lol

I love the black wheel trend.... I hope it hangs around for a while longer. Sadly, it doesn't look great with Kona Blue (IMO) but my next car will have them.
That said, I also prefer OEM wheel styles..and the black FRPP wheels are beautiful, IMO.

Perhaps you would like the black Ford Racing 18x8 Bullitt wheels w/machined lip? Fits 2005 –2014 mustangs.
I run the Ford charcoal gray 18x8 Bullitt wheels on my ‘14 GT.

HOLY COW! I don't mean to stray from the thread, but did you see how deep the black is on this LS? I think it goes to infinity! What a beautiful detailing job. However, the song playing on the inside almost made me think I was inside a mini-van, yuk.

If your looking for something lightweight, strong, and with a quality finish check out SSRs new GTV-01 lineup. I've been waiting 4 weeks for mine and got shipping confirmation for the 20th. I can't wait to get them wrapped with the 285/35/19s I have ready for them. Jay & Dan @ Hypermotive can line you up with a good deal however there is still a 6 week turnaround time on them.

Many options out there for you! Any specific size that you're looking for? We do a lot of Vossen, Rohana, Niche, Avant Garde and many others. Rohana is a good less expensive (still good quality) alternative to Vossens.

#1 wheel trend I have always hated.
I've never understood it, never will. even if they are 20's, what' the point when they are so dark you don't even see the spokes or the design?

I'm going to order these GT500 style wheels from AM and order the blank center caps for the total black look. Right now they are out of stock but it will be worth the wait.
