This Wednesday will mark three
months since I took delivery of the Tungsten Grey 2006 Mustang GT
Convertible that we have all come to know as Project Source Horse.
Work on the project car is on hold until after the first of the year,
so I thought that this would be a good time to give you a status
report on the car. Im not sure when Ill be able to take any more
publication-worthy photos since two of the upcoming weekends are major
holidays and winters in Alabama tend to be very wet.
The photos above show the
latest modifications to Project Source Horse. The first photo is the
door panel in stock trim. This week I installed the one-touch rear
window module from WebElectric Products. I also installed an "auto"
switch from ClevParts.com and sent the switch plates along with the
door lock pins to Saleen for painting.
Paul and Jason
at SVP Unlimited installed the MRT gauge pod and Auto Meter gauges.
Paul custom-made a gauge pod to fit between the center A/C vents
thanks to a spare part from ClevParts.com.
Outside, these are the first
decent photos of the new Mustang Tuning 18x9" Anthracite FR500 wheels
and 275/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Paul also added the Silverhorse
Racing honeycomb decklid trim, ClevParts.com pony decklid badge, and
some black taillight trim I picked up on eBay. Paul also installed the
Midwest Auto Gear painted side mirror inserts and ShowLenses.com
foglamp tint.
Here is the status of each and
every modification to the car:
