They really like the Ford Mustang across the pond, particularly the GT.

There might be some 4,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean that separates us from the United Kingdom, but when it comes to love for Mustangs, it’s clear that we are a lot closer than some might think.

The GT350’s flat-plane-crank 5.2-liter V8 engine sounds great at idle, even with the active exhaust off. But when the active exhaust is flipped on, that’s when the symphony really kicks in.

A U.K. dealer has cooked up a special offering for ‘Stang enthusiasts abroad who aren’t satisfied with the stock 416 horsepower the Mustang GT is putting out.

Of all the sports coupes sold last year around the globe, sales for the new S550 Mustang car beat them all.

It’s almost inconceivable to think that in a country like Germany that an imported sports car can out sell a native, but it has actually happened.

So how is the Mustang faring in the U.K.? Apparently pretty good, with the U.K. accounting for 1,000 of the 3,500 right-hand-drive Mustangs shipped overseas so far.
