Valet trashes my GT/CS tonight

Was at a club in town tonight, used the valet because it is not in a better part of town. Went to get the car... watched the valet get into it a half block away... gunned it... right into the back of an SUV and pushed that into a cab. This all happened a few feet infront of me. Driver clames the brakes failed, said he heard a pop just before he hit the SUV. I say BS.

Took out the front end, bumper, grill, hood, and poss both fenders. Poped the drivers side airbag, and tranney fluid was all over the street. Its being towed to the dealer this evening. Will have a better look at it in the day time and assess the damage then. will post photos.

Did you tip him? (sorry, I had too). I hope he lost his job. Hope you get a quick fix.

****, I'm glad that didn't happen to me...I'm afraid I would loose it and break his legs. What bites is the fact that it's not a regular Mustang since it's a special edition and it will show in the record that it has been in an accident...In other words, it will loose value. If you can't get the insurance company to total it, you might as well sue the club for your losses. They are responsible for your vehicle up until the point were they give the keys back to you. Keep us updated!!!

How the hell would tranny fluid be out?

Are you sure it wasn't power steering fluid and coolant?

Lead's to a lot of thought when you drop a car off for service ! I want it stated who will drive and are they licenced on so on. like that kinda jerk on Ferris Buller's day of when he parked the Ferrari geesus murphy, should also be a PAIN & SUFFERING clause in our insurance !!!

I am very sorry to hear about that. It'd be awful hard for me to see that happen.

It does remind me that would would be cool is to have a 'valet tune' that keeps the car below 1500 rpms or something like that. Something so that these things can't happen.

Yeah, I'm sure his radiator is busted and that's where the tranny fluid gets cooled

Holy mother of God!! I am angry just reading this!! I applaud your restraint... it's not even my car and I'm fantasizing about pulling that stupid azz moron out of the wreck and smashing is lying freaking face into the asphalt and then repeatedly kicking him in the nuts for good measure.

HOW COULD HE BE SO STUPID!

And what a ridiculous lie... "the brakes failed"... in a NEW CAR??

Sorry about your Pony, Doug!!! I feel your pain. Hope this turns out ok for you.
