Previously reserved for special projects, RTR and Lebanon are now offering a few Spec 5 cars for public consumption.

It’s been a few years now since pro drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. started RTR Vehicles, a company that now offers a host of parts and turnkey vehicles for enthusiasts. Today, the general public is able to purchase a Spec 1, 2, or 3 RTR Mustang, each of which offers a different level of appearance and performance upgrades. A handful of Spec 5s exist, but are reserved for special projects and racing only. Until now, that is. Because RTR and Lebanon Ford are teaming up to build 10 Spec 5 RTR Mustangs for public consumption as part of RTR’s 10th anniversary celebration.

As you probably already know, Lebanon Ford has quickly developed a reputation for building and selling some seriously powerful, seriously cheap Mustangs. So this partnership makes a ton of sense on the surface. And as you might imagine, the 10 lucky folks who land a Spec 5 are getting something truly special. For starters, customers can choose any exterior color they like, so long as it’s Lead Foot Grey. But they do get to choose their preferred accent color from five different hues. They include Hyper Lime, Race Red, Orange Fury, Grabber Blue, and Space White.

From there, the list of upgrades is rather long. Performance wise, Spec 5 cars receive a Ford Performance Phase 2 supercharger kit. That alone helps the car produce 750 hp and 670 lb-ft of torque. To handle that extra juice, RTR has also upgraded the axles and “other” drivetrain components. RTR Tactical Performance coilovers and sway bars hunker it down to the road. The car rolls on a set of RTR Aero 7 Forged 20×9.5 and 20×11 wheels, which are wrapped in 285/30R20 and 305/30R20 Nitto NT555 G2 tires.

On the outside, you’ll quickly notice some familiar parts from the RTR catalog. It all starts with a Spec 5 widebody kit. Along with the company’s ever-popular front grille, chin spoiler, bumper inserts, hood extractors, rear diffuser and spoiler, decklid panel, splitters, and fender badges. Moving inside, you’ll find matching 10th Anniversary color accents and an RTR shift knob, floor mats, and plenty of graphics. It’s all topped off by a serialized dash plaque signed by Gittin Jr himself.

So what’s the cost of entry for all this goodness? A cool $50,000 on top of your donor Mustang’s cost. But you are getting quite a bit of content for that cash. Not to mention an extremely rare car guaranteed to grab attention everywhere you go. If that sounds like your idea of the ultimate Mustang, you can secure your 10th Anniversary Spec 5 by heading over here!
