New 2022-2023 Ford Mustang Roush Supercharger Kit Boosts Output to 750 HP
Though down a bit on power, this new Mustang Roush supercharger kit more than makes up for that loss on 2022-2023 models.
Roush is a name that’s been synonymous with Blue Oval – and specifically Mustang – performance for many years now, with the tuner routinely cranking out new parts and accessories for our favorite pony car, as well as entire, turnkey builds. Thanks to its good standing with FoMoCo, Roush’s offerings are appealing because they offer a factory warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician, giving us a little piece of mind when upgrading our vehicles. That also includes the brand new 2022-2023 Ford Mustang Roush supercharger kit that just launched, too.
This brand new blower upgrade provides an incredible boost for the modern-day Coyote, adding a whopping 300 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to that mill, which raises output to a grand total of 750 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque. Better yet, it also comes with a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty when installed by one of the aforementioned entities.
Utilizing Eaton’s TVS R2650 technology, the new Roush Mustang supercharger kit feature’s the tuner’s high-capacity cooling system, a full-face, low temperature radiator, oversized bearings and timing gears, and a hydrocarbon cap in the air induction system, along with a unique calibration for 2022-2023 models. This is required after Ford revised the Coyote in 2022 to meet Tier 3 emissions standards, which resulted in a slight loss of power versus previous years.
On the bright side, this supercharger kit more than makes up for that horsepower loss and then some. The kit comes with all of the necessary installation hardware one might need, as well as a Roush Performance calibration that can be downloaded via the company’s RDT software, too.
The new 2022-2023 Ford Mustang Roush supercharger kit is compatible with GT models packing The Blue Oval’s 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and either the six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmissions, but not the Mach 1, Bullitt, or any version equipped to meet Euro 6.2 standards. It also isn’t approved for sale or installation in California or any state that requires an E.O. number, either. However, everyone else is good to go, and can reap the benefits of this wildly capable upgrade, all for a retail price of $8,799.99.
