My X-Charger is on the way!

Just got my shipping notices from Explorer Express. My X-Charger kit is on the way (in 3 beefy packages)

It's been a loooooong summer (We made the purchase deal in May, and originallly Dave at EE was hoping to get the kit to me in time for a show in July...) He's an obsessive perfectionist and has been tweaking and adjusting details to make the kit as complete as possible (the install manual is 47 pages for instance)

Delivery date is slated for 9/27, I think I may buy some champagne (or at least a good German beer) to celebrate

Kit review, and installation overview to follow

Thanks guys

The only thing I'm wondering now is if I should spring for the Powerhouse driveshaft before unleashing this. My car's an '05, presumably with the early (crap) driveshaft (I've been too forgetful to check the U-Joints the last few times I've been under there).

I suppose I should stop procrastinating and throw a set of improved LCA's under there too...

If you plan to take it to the track, I would do it. I think its problematic at 115+ mph.

The Powerhouse is problematic at that speed?

The stock drive shaft, I think at 115 or 118 is when the vibration starts and it can break loose.

Ok, sorry, yeah I was aware that was where Afixer's came unglued. The phrasing of your post just had me a little unsure which part you were referring to.

I think I'm going to do it. Probably add a safety loop while I'm at it
