3 X-chargers being installed at Afixer's
3 of the X-charger installs from the group buy on the collective will be happening at my house Saturday the 24th starting around 8am I LIVE IN LAKEWOOD CA NEAR THE 605 AND CARSON OFFRAMP. Beaustang, Pat667 and 4literv6. Dave from EE is coming down as well Doug from Bamachips and will supervise the installs. but most of the work will be me and the boys. my house is pretty much under construction still and it hurts to give up the day. but this should be fun. so anyone in the so cal area wanting to see the X's up close and see the install process, pm me and ill give you directions. it should be fun I'm hoping we can get a little run in after. also if any other so cal guys got in on the buy we could prob do yours as well . i helped Dave and its pretty strait forward just allot of steps. so my goal is to do these together. i fly model helicopters and its best to build them so you get an understanding of them. this is a good shop class. supercharger 101! i hope eddy, Phil (Eric) and martin learn allot from this. between Dave and my tools Dave and my supervision. we should be done fairly early.
obviously the 3 x-charged cars will make for a fine photo op. well it also looks like one of the mustang mags has asked to come buy and shoot some pics also. Dave also just mentioned to me last night the Jba may come up and bring some product (they apparently have a new x-pipe dual system for the 4.0's.
anyone coming can bring food if you like. looks like ill be frying up some turkeys. this is gonna be kind loose ill get some stuff from the store or will do it pot luckish i really don't care as long as we have a good time share some good stories meet and greet and the the x-'s installed. but most important have fun.

actually we sold 17 on the collective in a group buy so far 2 have been installed and i think some this weekend. after next weekend the X will be a domanant force on the forums. we will have 27 out there!

You two are a great asset to the S197 V6 community!!
It would be nice if you guys could make a Magazine cover.. I think 27 Xchargers clustered together on a magazine would show Ford there is a really strong market for an OEM roots supercharger for the SOHC 4.0 V6 Mustangs...
If they could have Whipple do an OEM FRPP setup for the V6, I am sure they could price it below $30K!

I had a great time meeting all of you guys this afternoon...
I dropped by so Doug could hand-deliver my SCT X Cal2 with some mean Bamachips tunes. Doug said a few people would be dropping by, but when I got there it looked like Mustang City. There were blue ones, black ones, two green ones, a sweet yellow one (yes, that was Tom's), convertables, V6s, GTs and even a Hertz GT-H rental car.
Anyway, as soon as I got there....no point beating around the bush: I went right to the 91 race tune and holy crap! I've been smiling so much my face hurts.
I did have the pleasure of reving Phil's car so he could hear it from the outside immediately after the X-charger install was done and the pedal responsiveness was amazing. The highlight of the afternoon was going for a ride in Charlie's super-charged Lime GT. Talk about getting a whip-lash...
