Hello I have a 2008 mustang gt and upgrading to oem HID I would like to disable the headlamp perimeter only ,like on factory equiped car . I have Forscan but don't know what to modify in GEM/SJB as built . Can someone help me ? Thanks a lot

Oem Hid's Were a Popular Topic Back in The Day But Most Did Not Think They Were All That! A Bulb Upgrade Would Be a Much Easier Route. Anyhoo Here Is What We Did To Upgrade Back in The Day. I Don't Know The Exact Way You Turn Off the DRL But Here is Some Info Which Maybe Helpful!

I love the hid headlamp design .I don't have DLR I speak of the perimeter light when unlocking the car . I know HID cars don't have the headlamp on when pressing unlock but the Fog instead .

 

Oh, I Guess I Jumped The Gun. The Forscan Thread / Forum May Address That.

All The Info Posted May Help Shed Some Programming Light as it Were on Your Update.

I Don't Recall in The Silver Horse Upgrade Having To Do Any Programming Update.

Anyhoo, Checking Out The Info Should Be a Good Step in Your Upgrade Journey.

It's Been 18 Years Back When This Upgrade was First Done So I'm a Bit Rusty on the Whole Thing!

thank you ,I can't access ford scan forum I have a licence but I'ont have my invitation code so I'm stuck outside . I will use a morimoto harness for the install .

 

I manage to disable entirely the perimeter light function But I would like at least to have parking light on when unlocking
