2012 to 2013 conversion
I have a 2012 Mustang and a friend of mine just picked up a 2014 less then a week ago. I like the look of his front clip/bumper and I was wondering if it will fit my year Mustang also weather or not I’d also have to swap my hood if I made the change? I’d really prefer to keep the look of my 2012 hood and just swap the bumper and grill. Any ideas if this would work?

I don't believe they'll fit, as 2010 was the first year for the refreshed S197 along with changes for the front/rear bumper and grill assemblies which lasted during the 2010-12 model years and then changed once again for the 2013-14 models

You'd need hood, bumper cap, attaching hardware and underbody/underhood covers and trim to do what you say. It's all completely different from the 12. Having owned both styles, I can appreciate the differences.

if you do that conversion and end up with some "extra" 2012 parts (hood and grille) I might be interested in those parts, depending on where you are located
(because I might want to go in the other direction; I much prefer the front end styling of the 2012 but I see much more 2013-2014 cars on the market around here)
EDIT: it sounds like that probably won't work out because you can't do what you were thinking (keep your 2012 hood with 2014 grille)
