MCA Stang and Pony Stang Different Gauges?
Mustang Club of America (Taken in December '09)

Pony Package(Taken in March '10)
Not sure if both stangs gauges read 160 now, but i thought that was interesting. Any one know if the MCA reads 140mph or 160mph?

In some review I just read a couple of days ago it said that the governor for the 2011 GT will be set at 155mph. I haven't read where they will set it for the V6. For 2010, I believe the standard tires were only T rated (118 mph). If they are still using those as the standard tires I don't think they'll change the governor. Hopefully though, even the cheapest V6 for 2011 will have at least H (130 mph) tires if not V (149). I'd like to see them use V rated and set the governor at about 140-145 mph.
The base 17" AT & MT V6 tires are still "S" speed rated, so YES these will get the 115 MPH Govenor.
But "HOPEFULLY" when you get the optional "W" speed 18's or the PP 19's the govenor gets tweeked to match the GT.
This is how it works on the V6 Camaro ... 1LS only comes with the base "S" rated tires so it only comes with the 115 MPH limiter. The base 1LT also comes with the 18's std. (but on alum whls) and the 115 MPH limiter but if you order the opt. 19's or RS pkg 20's you get the higher limiter of the 2LT & SS (149 or whatever).

So far, I've found this picture of the full V6 cluster. You can tell it's the V6 because of the 6850 RPM red line. Not sure if it's the MCA edition. Still digging.

No one seems to know what the redline is supposed to be on the V8. heh. I started a thread specifically on the redline for the GT a number of days ago. But all reports so far have it in the 6800 to 7000 range.

Considering taking off the limiter, now that I have better brakes, but def. have to take it in for a service, wanna make sure I don't have any transmission parts hitting me through the center console at those speeds...

I'd say to look for the second gauge pic in all models.
