Found out today that a vet surgeon makes $3 grand for fixing a dog's ACL. I'm in the wrong line of work.

yup, and they do several surgeries a day :O
I know a few contract surgeons, one of which drives a Porsche Turbo S ( I don't like them ) another has a Lamborghini ( can't remember specific model ).
Scariest part to me is, a normal vet usually takes 1-2hrs in surgery, depending on what they are doing, while these surgeons take about 30mins-1 1/2 hours to do their surgeries, and they are usually more complicated surgeries than those of a Vet.

Hey Phiggs54, where did you get the American Bulldog? Mine is getting old and I want to get another one before he leaves this world. He is 11 years old and still in ok health, but I know he won't be around forever.

Great looking dog.

Huckleberry belongs to our grandsons, they live in Fayetteville Arkansas. It is a rescue dog from their local shelter

My dog has had two ACL surgeries. It's common in dogs that the second leg goes too. So prepare yourself. This was after her second.

I really believe vet's are worse than lawyer's and con artists when it comes to pricing. Half the time I think it'd be cheaper to take them to a real doctor.
