Water fountain. Wife spoiled them to the point they won't drink water out of a bowl, it has to be running water.
Lol thanks.
Oh, ok. Thought that might be what it was, never seen one. Might have to look at one for my cat. He loves to drink out of the faucet. Gets in the kitchen sink and sits there until you come turn the water on for him. Also the bathroom, its hell trying to brush your teeth with a cat in the sink trying to drink the water, lol.

LOL ...
Wife says she's had multiple cats that hated drinking out of a bowl, guess they all prefer running water.

He'll drink out of bowls, heck he'll drink out of a mudhole when hes outside, but several times a day he wants to drink out of the faucet. Hops in the kitchen sink and waits. Don't know if its so much drinking the water or just the a habit he likes. Sometimes he'll just sit in the sink and stare at the water as it runs down the drain, fascinated by it. ****ing lunatic.
My first cat was also fascinated with running water. She would watch you take a bath brush your teeth just loved water. A water spray bottle to correct her only fired her up. She would literally lunge at the water nozzle and chew on it! LMAO

This one is like that too. Loves to sit on the porch and watch it rain, crazy bastard has even gotten into the shower with me a couple of times. Just hopped in, looked around, watched the water spraying, drank a little water and got back out.
That is hilarious Gabe, I'm chuckling about the tails, mine has NO tail at all, not even a nub. Hes been on a killing spree this week, brings it all to the front door when he wants to come in and eat and sleep in my bed, lol. So far this week hes killed/brought 8 moles, 2 rats, 2 squirrels, a rabbit and 2 robins. Hes a damned serial killer when hes outside. Came strutting across the yard the other day growling and howling while I was outside, with a huge robin in his mouth, brought it to me like a damned trophy. Crazy bastard. He is not a typical cat, more like big cat, doesn't care about finicky stuff like most of them, like water, or getting dirty or other crap. He will go on a walk with me in the woods like a dog, dig a freaking hole and roll in the dirt like a dog. He just kills outside and comes inside to sleep and play and eat.
That's awesome, we have a ton of squirrels, moles, voles, field mice too .... I'd love to let these things loose and see what they'll do.
But they've always been indoor cats, other than when my wife used to let them out on the roof at the last place we lived in ...
Yeah, there's a cat on the roof in all of these pics
We took a 9 day vacation and visited Salt Lake City, Yellowstone (closed, in spite of the website saying open), Devil's Tower, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse memorial, the Badlands, Custer National Park, Needles Hwy, and Wind Cave. Wasabi was very happy to have me home and helped unpack.
It's been a while since this thread has been updated, and I have a sad and a non-sad post.
Our beautiful girl Lila was lost to cancer about a week ago, when we had a Dr come to the house to end her suffering. She went to her final sleep in her Mommy's lap, and slowly and painlessly took her last breath on our deck, surrounded by chirping birds and people that loved her.
I still tear up typing it, she was a great kitty, and she's dearly missed ...
Meanwhile, her brother Jack has been missing her most of all, and he's been loudly telling us all about it constantly ever since.
So, when we found out that a friend of the family had a cat he was looking to re-home, we thought it would be a great idea for Jack to have some company again.
Yesterday we brought our new boy home. An almost-5-year-old Lilac Point Tonkinese cat named Guzzi, after the motorcycle company.
We're slowly introducing him to Jack, a Wedge Head Siamese.
So far he's a love, all over me getting pets, licking my hands, occasional love bites, and loud purrs. He's eating everything I've given him, and he got some brushing (furminating) this morning.
Looking forward to the 2 of them getting along, so far this morning they briefly saw each other and Jack hissed at him which got both of them hot and bothered. So no more of that for a little while, lol.
Thanks guys.
They're getting closer to being buds, but Jack is still hissing at Guzzi if he gets too close. At least "too close" is now less than a foot.
