Believe me, I know! I live in the woods and the car will be stored outside in one of those portable garages for the winter. While the car cover will be on top to bottom, and i'll drive in on a tarp and wrap it bottom to top. Hopefully that will help keep them away, along with some mothballs!
While I expect some sort of problm with them over the winter, I never expected to see one pop up in front of me while driving! Good thing for camera phones!

Try putting some dryer sheets in there over night, and take them out in the morning.

Funny today on the Ferry got to ride with Cheryl Crow & her group and there was this page Would (Stewart Little) please come to the chief stewards office. who has that name but a mouse.

This little critter startled me this afternoon. I'm driving down the road at 40 mph and all of a sudden it I see it pop out and start running across the wiper area.
So I pulled over, took these and to get it off. It was down into the engine area somewhere. I didn't see it on the ground, so who knows where it went.
