I really do like the camera. Have been through Nikon, Minolta Konica and Canon. I had a Canon XTi before getting the 40D. I used the same lenses on the XTi and 40D but there is a world of difference in the quality of the pics.

 

40D is my next purchase. Just need to get a few more customers to help me purchase it.

 

If only I knew how to sell photos. That might help justify all the gear I have purchased over the years. I haven't made a single dime off of this hobby yet.

 

You know, the nature/animal photos you take would do well as stock photos. I'm actually going to be signing up very shortly for some accounts as well. Here's the three I would recommend. The people I know selling on these make quite a bit of money. One guy is making an average of $600/month.

Just took Connor my 11 year old on his first plane trip to Pittsburgh, First Steeler Game for him also!

 

What a nice picture , it would look great with an earing in the left ear ? I wouldn't but for that Look

 

Couldn`t believe how close he let me get for this pic! I walked 20 ft right by him.

Yeah, she has both ears pierced, just hard to tell because of the shallow depth of field. I bought some new lights, hoping I'd be able to make due with constant lighting. And just like the experts say, of course, I should have gone with studio strobes. So, because they put off little light, compared to strobes, I had to drop down to an aperture of about 2. Sellin' my Mac Mini today hopefully to help buy some strobes. Then I should have some awesome pictures coming in.

 

Only had my 100-400mm lens with me but I still managed to pull of some decent (well I think they are) shots the other day.
