Not a story. :-) I actually am. For many uses the HDR can can look cool and it can enhance a picture. Here is one that I used just as little of the process for a automotive company that I did some work for.

I totally agree about the overuse of HDR by amateur photographers, but National Geographic would never be the same without HDR. I doubt Ansel Adams would ever have been considered a great photographer had he not pioneered the use of HDR in his prints.


HDR can be a wonderful thing when used correctly.
