People get so pissed at me when sitting around outside. For some reason, mosquitoes never bother me. Everyone else will be *****ing and getting eaten alive and I won't even notice them. I think its because my blood alcohol level is so high that one of them bites me, drops dead instantly, and the rest of them say to hell with that, stay away from him.

Now those freakin' biting flies are another story. Those things will always find me when they're around.

Cool looking bird, but birds in the house freak me out for some reason. Don't like being around them.

Stone Brewing Company, their Arrogant Bastard is an IPA styled ale that is refreshingly hoppy and never lets the palate down. Their "Double Bastard" is a barley wine and worth checking out if you can get your hands on it.

I haven't seen one of those at all this year. Usually have a few in the woods near the house. Last year I had a pair nesting in a big dead loblolly pine that the top had blown out of, but a big storm blew the rest of it down and haven't seen them since.

 

I saw one the other day at our Washington Oaks State gardens. Heard him from a mile away and then flew right next to us. I'll ask my friend Robby for the pics cool pics!

 

I remember them from Missouri. Up here there's always a few Flickers but this is the first time seeing a P after living here 30 yrs. The map shows they're more coastal in OR.

Yeah, my grey just barely started talking, but she makes all sorts of noises. My favorites is the police siren and some sort of pulsing laser sound. Makes me laugh every time
