Their harmless, but will make you **** your pants if you've never seen them before. We used to pick them up and put them on unsuspecting peeps for some fun.

Yeah, we have a few of those. Give me the creeps. They're really bad down around the Gulf. Last time I was at my aunt's down there we were on the porch and one of them came out of a tree and went down the back of my shirt. I stripped down to my underwear in about 3 seconds trying to make sure that ****er was off of me.

Yup cicada. We used to get tons of them nearly ever year in the yard. We had a storm roll through back in 2007 and took out our trees.

Yes, lol. They raise hell all evening around the house, although there haven't been as many this summer as usual. Make a LOT of racket, drown out everything when they really get going in sequence. I've only actually seen one this year and it was hung up in a big spider web. This was one from a while back....

After filling up my Mustang today and going to a few stores (on the highway) I saw this! Amazing for my Mustang considering at one point this summer I was averaging 17.5 MPG regularly...I have my V6 auto programmed with my SCT tuner to Eco mode...
