Here's a couple I took today with the new lens I got for my D5100. The first one is just playing around with the selective colour setting of a row house on fire behind where I live. The second pic is just of an airplane that was flying by. Photo's have been sized down to fit the thread

A patriotic salute to ford. we have three California Specials lined up before the show just for this picture. Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent Washington. With Members of the Pacific Cascade Mustang Club.

Rocky Mountain National Park.

We stayed in a cabin in Grand Lake. Great views, nice small town, tons of wildlife. Saw more elk and moose than could be counted, and even had a bear visit one night. After a full week there my wife and I were ready to leave the cabin and be back at home, but we wish home was there.

That is Emerald Lake, it's at the end of a 1.8 mile climb starting at Bear Lake in RMNP. There is also Nymph Lake and Dream Lake before reaching Emerald Lake. Pics of those soon.
