A European friend of mine on another forum just got this (he's a bike nut with a bunch of them and has a couple of old exotics as well for cars)..

I've not bought another car......but I have ordered a new bike. An order was sent to Italy with my specifications, the bikes been made, and I should get a call later today to let me know when I can collect it.

It's a brand new model that is released in the UK tomorrow. An MV Agusta F3 800cc, with launch control, 8 traction control settings, anti-wheelie, programmable engine maps, quick shifter, etc.....

This is my backyard, with the patio on the knoll. Mission BC. It's been a really hot summer here.

Here's a pic of my 2 wheelers...

Like the moose shot.
After the vacation I've got about 150 pictures that I like, and out of those I have about 20 that I think are exceptional (for me).

That's out of the 800 or so pictures I took. I still have my wife and daughters pictures to go through as well.

Here's one that's not so good. The hunters here will probably like it though...

I've always wanted to ask... when I see people on long cruises on bikes like that, doesn't the 'forward' position get tiring on long hauls?

lol, a 'long' ride for me on an italian bike is ONE HOUR. Coffee. another hour maybe, then another rest, then home. These are not touring bikes. For me they are beautiful, sound awesome, corner awesomely and pass with a mere thought. IN an hour or less

I think it's beautiful, and not just because of the elk.

That's a cicada? Had no idea they looked like massive flies.

Dunno what a potato bug is, but I've experienced Mississippi water bugs, which look like giant, flying roaches to me. The first time one landed in front of me, I crossed the street!

Not my picture. I have some on my computer but I'm posting from the app. They're 3-4" long, look like little lobster/bee things. You can hear them walk along the concrete.

Back in the day when we rented apartments and houses we had some serious big ones. You could have put saddles on them and gotten $1 a ride at the circus.
