Yeah, that could be a busy field to get into.

I hope that Tesla finds a way to stay alive for the next 5-7 years, so that the energy technology can catch up with electric vehicle demands, but I'm just not sure that they'll do so. Its hard to sell a $80k car (when you get a decent range one) that can't do what it's competitors do. There's only so many people that will buy one to show off at the country club.

 

Well, from when I left 3 years ago, until now, I can say their operation looks a LOT healthier. There are cars everywhere at the factory (which is bustling btw). As long as they make it through 2013 and get the Model X produced, they will be fine. The only question is, will they remain independent? I don't know. They've had significant investments by Daimler and Toyota, but I really really hope they don't sell out to Toyota if it comes down to that. I'd be working right by the final PDI area, and there were hundreds of cars waiting to be delivered, as well as a few things I can't say I saw

Yes and thanks! The Moon was directly overhead and it is difficult for me to use my tripod in that way. I ended up laying back partially on the hood of my Mom's truck to help stabilize it. lol I'm sure if someone drove by and saw me they would wonder what the heck was wrong with me!
