Very nice Lee! I hate seeing something I really want to take a picture of and then I don't have my camera.

 

I drove from the Pacific northwest to Missouri last week and there was forest fire smoke from the east side of the Cascades to the middle of South Dakota ! Made for some nice sunsets !

The first 3 are some Pictures I took last week at work.

#1 Is a glorious sunrise.

#2 Is South Plaquemines Parish re-opening after Hurricane Isaac.

#3 Is Grand Isle Shorebase in Grand Isle Louisiana.

#4 Was taken by my 14 year old Son. He loves the sunsets as much as I do!

 

That stop sign that's 3 feet high is pretty funny.

Me too, but the one the day before was EPIC. Probably the most magnificent one I've ever seen out of all the times I've been here and I missed getting pics.



Same here. I didn't really think about it when we left to go eat, but while we were waiting to be seated out on the deck we had a straight shot of it, and the sun looked massive and there wasn't a cloud anywhere around. Just a giant deep orange ball sinking into the ocean. Only lasted a minute or two and it was gone.

 

Some of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen were in Aruba. Just about every night was absolutely beautiful. Just when you thought it couldn't get any prettier, it dropped a lil bit more looked better.
