It was! It seemed like it took forever to drive all the way up there through all of the twisty roads though. If I'm not mistaken, the elevation is 10,023 ft., so it was pretty chilly up above the clouds. It was worth the drive

One thing I wish I would have got to see while I was in HI!

Just checkin out the tower of americas in san antonio! The charthouse and lounge up top are top notch!!

 

I dunno.....both my kids are 2nd degree black belts.
The oldest was going to test for his 3rd before he went off to college and that
was placed on the back burner.

Went to a Texas Rangers game Sunday. It was Law Enforcement Appreciation day. They had an Arlington PD Tac team Officer throw out the first pitch. He was shot in the head a few weeks ago during a hostage rescue. He got as lucky as you can. The bullet hit at the right angle to ride the skull around the outside instead of entering.

 

Very cool stuff!
