Love the Thompson River country, went through there all the time on our way to Machete and Tyee lakes for our annual hunting trips !

All I could think about was the "Choo Choo Mother******" meme. Didn't figure to post it though, with the harsh language and all.

Yes... One funny thing is there were two sets of track about 100 feet apart. They lighting was perfect on this set so we went there.

Here is another.

i`m not a camera geek and dont question your greatness but is it ok/normal for great shots to lose focus in the background ,i mean the girl is spot on in focus but the background get blurried as you go back ..or is that on purpose ?

it's usually intentional, bringing even more attention to the subject of the photo. In this case the beautiful young lady

A few pictures from Terlingua. These are the wife's pictures with her digital camera in a moving car, so I was impressed as many came out clear as they did. First one's a shot of the front after I pulled up in my driveway. I love it. The one with the stream in it is the Rio Grande.

Yes this is done intentionally. It brings the focus to the subject. To get this you need to be spot on with the focus point and have the subject in dead center of your depth of field. The camera is set to a real wide open aperture. In this case it is f/3.2.
